I’m Bennett Reda, a student at Chaminade High School from Manhasset. I am passionate about learning, problem-solving, and helping others succeed. With a strong curiosity for academics and a drive to make a meaningful impact, I’ve always believed that education should be both collaborative and accessible. Whether on the ice playing hockey, in the classroom tackling challenges, or working on new initiatives, I strive to push boundaries and bring people together.

My passion for entrepreneurship and community service led me to create My Peer Prep, a platform designed to bridge the gap between students seeking academic support and those eager to share their knowledge. I believe that success is built on shared experiences, and My Peer Prep reflects that vision—connecting students in a way that makes learning both effective and empowering.

I have always been passionate about helping others and tutoring gives me the perfect opportunity to help others achieve the grades they deserve.

I have been involved in peer tutoring at Chaminade High School, where I have developed the key strategies I need to flourish as a tutor with MyPeerPrep.

Difficult concepts are something that must be tackled as a tutor. For me, the best approach is to start with something that is simple and understandable and build off that topic to understand more complex ideas.

As the founder of MyPeerPrep, I built a peer-to-peer tutoring platform to help students connect and support each other academically. My dad and I have also raised over $190,000 for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, contributing to the fight against childhood cancer.

My favorite subject to tutor is math; math is my favorite subject in my curriculum. As a student I have always been most proficient in math, enrolling in a AP BC calculus class my sophomore year.

I have been given the privilege to lead my hockey team and be recognized as team Captain. Furthermore I have been on the honor roll for every trimester I have attended Chaminade, earning me a spot in the National Honors Society.
